Here's a thought, have the site designed and then get your Luddite grandmother to try and navigate it. When she can grudgingly find her way around it without a problem then you can release it to the public.

Web sites.
I've never designed a web site so I don't know what it takes to do, but I have a few ideas on what doesn't work. I hate to say it but the last time I was on the IRS site it was pretty awesome. Other governmental sites I've been on...sucked. The most were okay, but some just majorly bit. That designer was someone that hated the end user or was so smart that they couldn't understand why everyone else didn't understand his "vision".
I'm looking at some sites and they don't have working buttons. If it happens occasionally I understand but when it happens repeatedly then I wonder what's going on in their head.
Here's a thought, have the site designed and then get your Luddite grandmother to try and navigate it. When she can grudgingly find her way around it without a problem then you can release it to the public.
