On Sarcasm.

I wrote this years ago.  It's short and rather introspective I think.  Obviously, it's about sarcasm.

Sarcasm with me is a defense measure.  You're maybe a little unsure of yourself, a little scared, a bit shy; it makes you feel more confidant, a little less fearful, and a bit more outgoing.

If some person that you don't know care for comes up and says something like "I don't think you're doing this right" as soon as he says "I don't think" cut him off and say something like "Well then, don't brag about it."

People normally think you're full of bravado, it's a mask.  With sarcasm you can put the other person off balance and make yourself a little superior in an argument or conversation.

I think I wrote that in my late teens or early 20's.  Pretty simple and introspective, I was really into the introspection around then.
