I'm cleaning and reorganizing my office and I found about a half-dozen old notebooks. There are short notes on essay ideas and business ideas. Quotes I created and some from other people.
Here's a sample: You know it's going to be a bad day when the cat looks at you for a few seconds and then yawns. That was by me.
Some letters that I wrote to friends even some things I'm not really sure how to categorize. Some philosophical bon mots I created back when I was 17-19 I still believe in. Here's a good one:
Three things everyone should know:
1. Life isn't fair.
2. You don't always get what you want.
3. Nobody is perfect.
