What are we teaching kids?

I know that title should go to something more meaningful but I have to say this.  One of our kids is in a game tonight and it was our turn to bring snacks.  Did we bring juice and chips like we've seen before?  Nope, we brought bottle waters and plums.

Some of the kids refused them.  Keep in mind that this is at about 7:30 at night.  On a normal night our kids would have already eaten dinner, bathed and would be getting ready for bed by this time.  Were the kids hungry?  Yepper.  They just didn't want fruit and water.  

So we have hungry kids and they are refusing food because it's fruit and water?  I know one thing.  In a famine my kids will do okay.
