Artist vs. Scientist. Redux.

Yesterday was somewhat rough for me so I just kind of phoned in the post yesterday.  I'll expand on it tonight.

A scientist is very formulaic, which is great if you need every thing done in a particular way.  Or for the restaurant business done the same way each and every time.  For some things you need that consistency.  You need that person to go to A then B then C then D etc.

Artists are the ones who skip some steps or put in extra just to see what happens.  Of course sometimes the extra steps just trip you up.  That's when you need a scientist.

Combine the two and you have the best inventions and ideas.  Barbecue was invented by a combination of the two.  Someone who knew the steps of cooking food and wondered what would happen if you changed just a little bit of it.  Pure genius.
