Complaints about allergies.

Years ago, whenever someone said they had allergy problems I thought they were just whining and complaining about nothing.  Then in my middle 20's I had my first allergy attack.

SON.OF.A.BITCH.

That first one threw me for a major loop.  I was lucky; I would have three or four attacks a year, take some allergy drugs and 20 minutes later I would be fine.

Then I got older.  As you age your body changes.  Your tastes change, all of the obvious changes that go with age, and your allergies change.  Now my allergies are more common and instead of feeling absolutely miserable I feel blah and not be able to breathe.  The allergy drugs don't affect me the same anymore.  They used to work perfectly, I was the poster child for the effectiveness with no side effects.  Not anymore, now they more or less work and even the non-drowsy type make me tired and delirious.

Today I wanted to write some deeper piece about responsibility and history.  Instead you get my fuzzy mental wanderings.  Sorry.
